The World Golf Hall of Fame, at the sprawling World Golf Village complex is a unique consortium of 26 global golf organizations with a mission to preserve history of golf and its legends.
Through engaging exhibits featuring more than 4,000 artifacts and pieces of memorabilia, works of art, audio, video and photography apart from the Member Locker Room, this is an inspired celebration of the great game of golf and its legends. The Museum features a permanent exhibition and a rolling program of periodic temporary exhibitions.
Guests have the opportunity to enhance their visit with an audio tour guide, "Voices from the Hall", that tells "behind the scenes" stories from Hall of Fame members themselves. For the first time in 2015, the Induction Ceremony was moved to St Andrews in, Scotland for The Open. In November 2008, the Hall of Fame honored Hope by opening the “Bob Hope: Shanks for the Memory” exhibition that is still on display today.
